She hires a guy to clean the pool so this guy comes and he says 13K then he sees how dirty the pool is he screams and says 15K

Then shes like is this the prices you would give my brother John?

And hes like John? (and the editors cut there)

And hes like oh yeah sure this and that I can do it for 3K

Hell yeah. I saw the first 2 episodes for the first time last night and that was one of the best parts. Funny how 1 second it was 13k and then Carmine was throwing the ball around and Luigi (poolcleaner) was getting frustrated and he upped it to 15k and then he goes in and talks to her, she breaks his balls a little, mentions John, and all of a sudden its this DEEP-assed discount. :1orglaugh

I also loved her date with that bald guy. You could see the Gotti in her coming out when he started to act like an asshole.

When a camera crew is there its not real. What does John matter he is dead and most of his crew is dead or in jail.

The pool guy said the wiring needed to be replaced,,the lights and other electrical shit.

She just wanted a price to get the pool working,,not to have everything fixed,,,which was 15k.

You really thought the guy was being an asshole?? I didn't see that at all. I thought it was just her being a rude cun+. The only thing I could figure was that maybe she was playing it up because she knew the camera was on her. The guy was trying his best to be polite and make polite conversation with her, but she kept acting like a total bitch. Even the going outside thing was ridiculous. Surely she doesn't *really* act like that when the cameras aren't on.

It looked more like she was trying to play the role of being a "Gotti" for the TV. I know I'll take heat for this, but she seriously needs to be slapped around a little bit and put in her place if that's how she really acts. :1orglaugh

Are you serious??? The guy was a pompus jerk. i would have ended the date the exact same way. The guy implied that she was spoiled, talked about her kids, etc. He wasn't making "polite conversation". That isn't the way a guy should act on a first date and a blind date at that.

First off, her BROTHER John, not her FATHER John. The point she was trying to make is that she thought he was taking advantage of her for being female .. She wasn't threatening him with her frumpy looking younger brother.

Second off .. as mentioned by others the two prices were for two different things.

The 15K price included electrical, a new cover and work on the Jacuzzi .. She told him she wanted only the very basics required to get the pool running and that reduced the price.

I just didn't see that at all. I think she took an innocent comment and blew it up into a big production. I thought she acted the same way with him that she did with the pool guy with the "Are you saying I'm fat?" deal. I was SO hoping he'd say "YES- you look like a big, fat, plastic, Tammy Faye Baker cow." :1orglaugh

She also needed to put those lazy ass kids outside cleaning up the pool. You could tell all that nasty shit was stuff they'd thrown in it.

Theres nothing to the Gotti name in this except to draw viewers :)

1) The pool guy was introduced as someone she already knows.

2) She copped the "you sayin' I'm fat?" attitude which is why he backpedalled (like any sane man would if he wants a job, even though she wasn't justified with the attitude).

3) The 3k price was just to clean and fill the pool. The 13k price was to repair everything.

All of this was as plain as day.

Cripes...I'm a single parent and I'd love to have it as hard as her.
