Postcount doesn't mean shit.....or does it ???

Some ppl are stupid and judge webmasters based on their GFY postcount.
Others want to look smart and laugh at the first ones.

But i just thought about it and i would still say postcount IS important.

Surely, there's absolute no correlation between post count and the $$$ someone makes, but IMO postcount still gives some credebility. It happened a few times that when i was dealing with soemone and then I found out he posts here and then i felt more safe. Do you sometimes feel in the same way?

Surely i don't mean that soemone who has 5k posts here must be honest. But i tend to think that at least he must care about his reputation on the boards and therefore it's unlikely that he will screw me over..... :glugglug

i think so...

I don't think a post count really matters..I know a lot of owners who rarely post and when they do they have like 40 posts.

Of course credibility sort of comes with the post count but there are some here that I have never heard of who have like 10k posts...it's the references that matter.:2 cents:

It's safe to say someone who post actively on a message board is a regular that cares about their rep, is committed to the board, isn't going anywhere anytime soon, and does business with lots of people.

So yes it gives you a more solid credibility factor or as Juicy would say "Q" factor.

:winkwink:

Yeah true, but on the other hand, some ppl here with a own paysite or program doesn't post very much.

But yeah in general you can say that ppl with a higher postcount care about their website/business. :thumbsup

Well, credibility is more important than the postcount. Although most people "mix" both of them.

It usually means you've been here for a long time..

There are exceptions.. Like Oracle Porn.. High poscount but lack of credibility.

True, although there're some exceptions.

But my point was that no matter is a GFY'er works 2 or 11 hgours daily, when he has a high post count and he's a regular, it's easier to trust him.

When I send a few $k in advance to a stranger, he can screw me over and not offer the service he promissed.
When i send it to a GFY'er with a high post count, then - although i may have never spoken to him before, I know i am safe simply becasue I know when he cheates me I can expose him here so it's simply not worth for him to do it.
