domain people..

when selling domain names, is there a time limit before you can transfer it.

can you do it right away or do you have to keep it 6 months like some people have mentioned.

thanks

never heard of such a rule. The only rule is that most registrars won't allow you to transfer a domains withing 60 days or so to another registrar. But most of them have an option "push domain to another account".

So you can buy a domain today, sell it to me in a week, in two weeks i will sell it to bdjuf. ;-)

hehe, aristo is right. it's a piece of cake to push domains to other users.

Depends on the registrar you're with. Some have transfer rules.

I use registerfly and when I sell a domain, I just have the buyer get an account at registerfly and then there is an option to push the domain to his account. The domain shows up in his account immediately and he is then able to do what he wants with it.

yeah that sounds like a good idea. :thumbsup
