Replicating the RESTAURANT EFFECT for paysites
Any idea on how to do this?
|
you might want to change your term.. most people wouldn't know what it is... and even then it can just mean retention or lack thereof.

A lineup creates a lineup - can also be affected by buyer satisfaction reinforcement.
For instance: "The most downloaded woman on the internet" makes you think that you're the only one who hasn't seen her, ie: there is a crowd that you want to belong to. By telling people that they are a part of this crowd, you reinforce their buying decision. They feel special by being smart enough to be one of the people on "the in". Now, how to create this? |

Obvious text stating it would be one approach but the credibility level would be low. Reviews? "Objective" assessments? |
Have an active user counter. If there are 1200 people on the site right now, I'm thinking there's something drawing them that I'm missing.
or a daily new member counter I think all you need to do is tell people there are tons of people in the restaurant and they'll believe you |
viral marketing :2 cents:

It's called PR but only a few folks here know how to get it and then how to use it.
