Absolutely. If I see one more reality show I am going to puke. I stick to the history channel, hbo(just when the sopranos are on) or comedy central(just because of dave chappelle). Other then that I rarely watch tv.

ya...TV sucks nowadays...the only thing I watch sometimes is Court TV or if theres a good movie on.

I only watch BBC and the Discovery Channel. That's pretty much it. So I guess giving up TV won't be that big of a sacrifice.

A better question would be could you go a week without any form of electronic communication (TV, internet, phone, radio, etc.)

I only use my TV to watch movies. So sure, no problem. I pity those that are bound to their couch by shackles.

I only watch 2 shows on TV: Aqua Teen Hunger Force and The 4400. SInce ATHF is off the air now, I could easily deal with missing 1 episode of The 4400 (especially since they replay it the following Saturday)

I lived for 6 months without a TV and didn't really miss it. Unless you enjoy sitcoms and so-called reality shows, there's virtually nothing of value on the boob tube.

I rarely watch TV. No time for that. And I get all tensed up from watching more than 10 minutes. Love watching movies thought.

I only watch movies on TV, nothing else, so yes, one week is nothing.

I haven't watched TV regularly in years. I will occasionally try to catch the Daily Show, and I go to my friends to watch new South Park episodes when they are on, other then that, my computer fills the void that would be TV.

I allways work with my tv on. So I thing it will be very hard to live with out it.

I can't live without MTV, VH1 and E.. If it were just regular channels i couldn't care less, but I MUST MUST MUST have those channels.. those channels make me happy and my life sunny... When cable goes out I get withdrawal symptoms...

With no tv I'll miss all the Newlyweds episodes.. and TRL so I won't know what video is #1 ... I really love music, and watching music videos.. Music just makes me happy... And I'll miss all the latest scandals and Hollywood gossip on E...

I always watch a few hours of tv a day, and I like to keep it on as background noise/music all day when working...

When I get depressed tv is an outlet for escape and relaxes my mind.. I love watching kooky shows like "The FAvulous Life Of..." on E or the Anna Nicole Show and just laugh.. it makes my day...

Actually this reminds me, I must buy a bigger tv...

I think i just got used to having the tv on constantly when Im working. I just bought a HDTV screen whith a VGA socket, so I can do picture in picture. Works great except it seems over compressed. But its good enough till i wanna see a movie or something, then I flip on the big screen.

sure. I get bored after 5 mins anyway , unless there's a good movie (very rare nowadays)
