MP3 FTP Servers
 

How may of you used to use ratio FTP servers to get your MP3s? How about IRC? Anyone still jerking with MP3 FTP servers?

I used to, when I had access to gigabytes of 0-day shit :glugglug

Now with all of the RIAA bullshit, I think quiet little FTP servers that you share with a few friends might be the way to go.

I *might* know of a FTP server with a few thousand MP3s on it...especially 80's hair bands if anyone is interested in trading some tunes.

I use torrents to get new cds ... that's about it

I've got a TON of MP3 and am alway up for trading :)

I used to love Hotline.

Can't say I've used an FTP server for mp3s since before Napster. Hell, now I just stream everything.

I used to be into the whole IRC/FTP type stuff back in the day. Even when I was on 56k lol

torrent is the way to go nowadays..fasttrack (kazaa) is dead for sure. Too many bogus files around

As much as I hate to admit it, I don't know shit about bit torrent. I'm old school. I'm doing some reading on it now though. I will be an expert in about an hour ;)

Upload your swapfile and download what you want. just dont expect to be able to come back if they had good logging.
