things i dont understand about Scarface
 

#1 if they are all Cuban and Colombian, why do they all speak english to each other even though it is CLEARLY not coming natural to them?


#2 when Tony got busted for rinsing cash, why not just have the cash sitting in a bank vault in your own house? It isnt like it is counterfeit or was robbed from a bank.

because it was so much money

1. Because we hate subtitles.

#2 because they will be using a good portion of it to just buy more coke off of Sosa, so why not let him worry about the launderring?

How was he going to explain that amount of money in the bank if the IRS came knocking?

He was working with the bank manager at some point, but I think he was arrested during the movie or told Tony he couldn't wash it for him, right?

One of this biggest problems with drug biz is the amount of money. They get so damn much of it that it has spawned a whole side business of cleaning it. There is just to much money.

Plus that movie wouldn't have been as sucessful if people had to read subtitles the whole time.
