The Westin Diplomat - SOLD OUT?!

Called to see if they have anymore rooms and they are totally fuckin sold out. I told her I am coming for Internext and she said it is sold out, not just the group rate, but every room is taken.

Is this true or is still possible to get a room?

It's been sold out for awhile. Try the Sheraton down the street, they are supposed to have some rooms.

Go get a cheap motel room.

We booked four rooms way before this time approached, its not very smart to try to book a room(s) when the event is a week away.:2 cents:

Does it have wireless internet access in the room?

Keep trying. I know several people who are changing their minds about going. You might be able to get something closer to the show.

BTW, all the rooms are blocked for Internext, not just a few. One of the reasons I like this show :)

Look into vacation rentals most are cheaper than the hotel.

dood stay at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, its the same fucking price as the holiday inn but 100 times better, i booked it a week ago, its just a few minutes away from the westin and they have broadband :Graucho

They do not have wireless unless they had recently updated.

If there is one area in this country that has no shortage of nice hotels to choose from its South Florida.

Checkout Ft. Lauderdale. Its only a short drive to Hollywood.

Even if the Diplomat is sold out, KEEP TRYING.

Lot's of companies book extra rooms "just in case" which usually become available right before the show. For instance we just upgraded our room to a suite, so our old room is now available.

They don't have wireless, but they do have High Speed :) Bring a long ethernet cable, then you can move the laptop all around the room:2 cents:
