Need a Traffic Trading Script that we can install ourselves

We are looking to purchase a Traffic Trading Script that isnt installed by a 3rd party and that we can install ourselves. We have looked at a bunch out there and they either need to be installed by the company that wrote them or they need zend optimizer installed (which we cant install due to a problem with another php optimizer system we currently use) Does anyone have any suggestions?
We have looked at the folowing;

Epowertrader (needs zend)
UCJ (needs to be installed by them)
RB4 (needs to be installed by them)

Any help will be appreciated

All free ones.

There's a reason they install the script.

All the best scripts need to be installed by the
software author because they're written in C.

To think that something is better or the best becuase it is written in C is silly. If it's C and it's still CGI based, then thats not necessarily the case.

You can try http://www.turbotraffictrader.com in C
It's free and it's incredibly easy to install :2 cents:

The best trading scripts are UCJ, TM3, RB4 and ATX. To the best of my knowledge they are all written in C++ and all require the software author to do the installation. Are you aware of a better trading script not written in C?

Didnt TTT have a paid script awhile back? I do remember seeing one.

there is nothing good you can install yourself.

Lycanthrope 08-08-2004 11:00 AM

Some decent free C based scripts you can install yourself:

http://www.arrowscripts.com (takes a small percentage of traff.)
http://www.awgtrade.com (takes no traffic)

Most webmasters don't know shit about programming ...

It's all about how you optimise your code :)

Doctor Dre 08-08-2004 11:04 AM

And writing a script in C Don't the user cannot install it ...

The reason why they do this is to make sure their script don't get ripped off

You'll need to pay someone to write your own script if you want it that way. Otherwise if you had the source what would stop you from running it on multi-sites?

SinisterStudios 08-08-2004 11:31 AM

It all makes sense, we understand that they are trying to protect their scripts. We might have to rethink having one installed, i just hate letting other people install software on our cluster.

johndoebob 08-08-2004 11:32 AM

I don't understand why you don't want that they install it on your server.Clear me up.

Some people are overly careful about their network security and don't want others to snoop around in their machine(s).

johndoebob 08-08-2004 11:36 AM

The authors are professionals and have no interests in snooping around.

Why not work out a deal with the creator of a free one?

I know Lane (Creator of CJ Ultra) posts here.

From what I have seen thats a reasonable guy and CJ ULtra always did righy for me :thumbsup

Hi SinisterStudios,

What php optimizer are you using?

Maybe I can encode the script with a different encoder..

SinisterStudios 08-09-2004 08:30 AM

We are using ion cube as our php optimizer (it works best on our site ratemyimplants.com zend didnt cut it for us) Hit me up on icq and let us know if you can help?
