Does anyone know if a "State of the Industry" type summary exists for 2003 or quarters of 2004 ?

I am not so sure what kind of replies you are looking for but the sky is still not falling.

This applies to all industries really. In order to survive long-term you just gotta come up with new ideas/concepts and improve what you've already got. It's what you make it.

Soem AVS networks changed their names to AEN.

AVS is doing fine, they just had to alter a few things...

The industry needed an enamea and it is getting one..

it is not the surfers that make things bad, it is the bullshit operators that make things bad....

the surfer is our livlyhood, not the enemy

and if they get treated as such, it will be the best thing to happen to the industry for any reputable , honest businesmen.

if you did not have that going on, then many webmasters would still love this place for the resource it is, rather than just tune in to see who called whom , what ,cause they are bored.

This is by far the best board out there in the totality of boards ( I know there are other good ones, I am talking if you could only pick one!)

Someone should do this quarterly or yearly, as part of their resource site. This "State of the Industry" summary would be good reading and discussion.

Evan, did you have IP Alert in mind when you mentioned this ? Or something else ?

I was looking for some of these Year-End predictions for previous years to see if things had changed much.
