That was one hell of an auction for Red!
 

Red, I hope that helped to ease the pain of the hospital bill some. I know that the donation method on paypal will remain open for anyone that missed the auction, and I hope a few others will wander over there and make a contribution.

The auction was very......entertaining to say the least. My guts are sore from laughing so hard, everybody that was there was excellent, the bidding was very good for most of the items (I bought 2 of the 20-something items sold), the chatter in the PLR chatroom was hill-fucking-larious people. I'd go back for one of those in a second, no question.

I'm also going to take this opportunity to personally thank Lightning of Lightningfree hosting. He not only came through on some key bidding, but he stayed throughout the entire event, and actually offered a few extra incentives on certain items!
Example: 3 or 4 guys were bidding on a link on some tgp, and the bidding was becoming stagnant.....then Lightning steps in and offers and EXTRA 10K of hits if the bidding gets up to a certain point. You can damnwell BET your ass the bidding resumed, and it is precisely actions like that that show me that there are people right here in this community that really do give a shit about us all.

Now you know why I so vehemently stick up for some of these freehosts and their management folks.

Again, if you missed the auction, that's okay, you can still help out one of your comrades by going to paypal and sending a donation to [email protected], and thanks in advance for helping out one of our own. CD Smith, you said it my friend, The auction was the most laid back and enjoyable event on the net in a longtime. It's to bad we only do these things when a dear friend is having troubled times.. Well atleast we all did what we could to help a great Lady, And Red surly is a great lady.
