FreeHugeMovies 08-06-2004 02:31 PM

Be sure to add spinners. I just purchased a mountain bike for 500 dollars and I ride it all the time.

Thats a pretty cool bike.. that'd get stolen in about a week around here. :Graucho

pornguy 08-06-2004 03:44 PM

VERY SWEET..

I love the split frames. They take out a ton of the shock off road. Now I Love the look of the single fork, but I am not sure how that will do on a mountain bike.

BUT VERY SWEET..

Hey, just dont try to race any corvette's or anything..

modF 08-06-2004 03:47 PM

I thought I heard that cannondale was no longer going to to use the shimano gearing?

Bogus!

Regarding the "Lefty" fork, it works very very well, has full 130mm of travel and rides smoother than your 1950's Cadillac!

It has been out for a few years, is exclusive to Cannondale and simply kicks ass.

Firehorse 08-06-2004 04:12 PM

That is one very nice looking bike! :thumbsup

quiet 08-06-2004 07:30 PM

funky. what is the advantage of having the front wheel in that position (i know almost nothing about bikes)...

wdsguy 08-06-2004 07:37 PM

fuck dude that is major bling bling

Corleone 08-06-2004 07:39 PM

fr8 08-06-2004 07:39 PM

there is no real "advantage" in that sense. the designs for single-sided forks have been around for almost 10 years, but only Cannondale managed to reinvent the concept into something that is right now one of the stiffest, if not THE stiffest fork in the 100-130mm travel category of suspension forks. so I guess you could consider that an advantage. plus it attracts eyeballs, which boosts the rider's ego. Hah! I'm such an attention whore.

it looks funky, but works very well, has tons of adjustment options for damping, and pre-compression, and carries a titanium spring inside. :thumbsup

I love the Cannondale's, everone in my family have owned many roadies and mtb's.

I no longer do that type of riding, as my interest has been peaked by street style bmx the past few years.

Just in case you haven't noticed, this machine is made for getting me in shape and not to pick up chicks. There is no need for that anyhow. :winkwink:
