I put this thread up a while ago but go some mixed answers.

Please Spam me with CANADIAN based hosting. My current host decided to charge me extra for shit I didn't want so I told them to stick the server up their ass.

How much bandwidth?

So does that mean you live in the US? If you live in the US, the law applies to you no matter where you host.. China for all I care.. not going to save you from this law.

Yeah GT was terrible....when we heard they were planning to chapter 11 we moved out of there at like 3am the same night :1orglaugh

They were bought by 360 Networks, then sold to Bell Canada.

We've got a fair amount of GT fiber into our Datacenter in Halifax - but man do I ever thank fucking god that we have Telus, WorldCom and TeleGlobe in there too.

At the beginning, we were at TeleGlobe and Exodus in Jersey. Man what a difference between the two!

TeleGlobe I signed in one night as "Val Venis" without any problems, while also drunk.

Exodus had armed guards with rifles following you around....

damn all these hosts are very very expensive. The cheapest is Candidhosting with around $.70 per GIG with the CX-4 plan.

Prices start at $10 per month with 5 GB of data transfer. Excess data transfer is charged at $1.50 per GB.

I have a feeling that's just what they charge mainstream clients. They might have lower rates for adult clients, especially if you push decent volume.
