If you haven't read the book before it you should start there. Angels and Demons is awesome and there are parts in DaVinci Code that refers back to stuff that happened in A&D. Both books high on my list for sure. Read his other book Deception Point and it was good, not as good as the two above, but still a pretty good read.

my girlfriend just read both of those, finished them both in like two days. she said they were really good...might have to give them a peek.

Da Vinci Code is pretty paint by numbers and as long as you don't think about it too much afterwards it's all right. Overall an enjoyable summer read.

I never get around reading books that are hyped out of this world.. Public opinion usually blows. :glugglug

Good book but don't start believing most of the shit in there is real.. its FICTION. :)

Just finished a couple nights ago. The book reads very quickly, and can be finished in a day or two. Worth picking up if you haven't already.

Now that movie is going to cause some serious contraversy! I'm surprised Mr. Oliver Stone didn't jump on it like a fat bitch on a oreo cookie!

I realize it's fiction (or is it?!?!) but it's a great read. They are running a special on the Discovery Times channel about the real DaVinci Code as well as the book of Mary Magdellen. It's a must see if you're a fan of the book.

Two weeks ago while at Costco I checked the fresh stack of DaVinci. It's in its 73rd printing now! Unfucking believable.

the davinci code, angels and demons and digital fortress are great books...cant say the same about deception point tho.

I am in the middle of Deception Point right now then next is Digital Fortress..so far I like Deception Point

i read the da vinci code before angels and demons. there were a few reference to the previous book but nothing that really concerns the da vinci plot, like that part where someone remembered him from the vatican incident and a few others. but its still a good recommendation to read angels and demons first

I just started it last night, only heard good things about it.

Da Vinci Code, though fiction, does bring a plausible theory about catholic religion. I loved that book, it's a bit too easy to read, i would've liked something thicker, with even more explainations.

i've read angels and demons and da vinci code, good entertaining reading, but you can't believe the majority of the claims that ron brown makes... even the stuff he claims as "fact" at the beginning of the book aren't exactly true...

even though most religious fanatics will be anti-da vinci code anyways, it's worth it to check out both sides of the story.

It's a great book! I wouldn't bother telling GFYers to read anything though. When someone posts something more than 2 paragraphs long, someone always has to post "Cliffs Notes please." :1orglaugh
