Note to GFY:
Freedom of Speech is an amendment that applies to US persons for the sake of protecting them from the goverment suppressing their opinions.
This amendment does not really apply to Private Institutions. For example, you will be thrown out of Wendy's if you go inside and tell everyone how great the Big Mac is.
You can protest the Republican Convention, but you can't do it in SaveOn Drugs store and Pharmacy.
That said, when someone post contrary to your opinion on GFY, please do not retort with:
"but I have freedom of speech," or in many cases around here, "freedom of speach."
Controversial example of 1st amendment challenges: The Mcarthy period.
Not an example: someone on GFY told me I was an idiot for posting a complaint.
It does not apply.
Thanks.
