OHOH, AEL wants to enter the Dutch political system
Did the take over start here now too:321GFY
Nothing wrong with a party for muslims and other people. But at the moment they go extreme they go wrong IMO. Same goes for extreme white wing etc. Besides that I prefer to hear some church clocks then some muslim "singing" in the morning :glugglug Andre |
The problem is that the support for these extremists is extremely large, especially in the big cities. Every 18-25 muslim will vote for them.
But America ill probably invade us when shit is going wrong :glugglug |
Honestly, the ael is bad news. Parties like this make things worse for everybody.

nah that's not true only some 14 year old kids going with them, most young muslims in the nl don't give a shit about them they probably don't vote anyway |
I like them taking the democratic route...

With less than 5% muslims in the entire country, and chances of even half of those voting for the AEL being extremely slim, I don't really see a problem.
|
less then 5% muslims in Holland? You must be a stand-up comedian! :1orglaugh
|
4.4% in '98, it'll be a bit more now but not all that much. (contrary to common belief, immigration in the past few years hasn't been all that huge)
http://www.worldfactsandfigures.com/...etherlands.php Religions: Roman Catholic 31%, Protestant 21%, Muslim 4.4%, other 3.6%, unaffiliated 40% (1998) You should remember that the Netherlands isn't just Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague and Utrecht. |

And 4,4, dunno. Andre |

Btw, the "unaffiliated" doesn't have anything to do with politics in this case, it's about which religion people say they belong to. And even though most Dutch people indeed do not vote based on religion, many do vote based on "christian morals" - just look at the size of the CDA. |
