Deja vu, or cerebrus fartus , is caused by methane bubbles in the brain created when one eats an excessive amount of starches or spicy foods. Perceptions and thoughts are reflected off the shiny surface of the bubble and directly into memory, while at the same time being allowed to enter the conscious mind.

This results in the simultaneous experience of perception and memory known as deja vu.

I heard that it is caused by a mistiming between the eyes and the brain....so basically..your brain scans what your eyes see, but only registers so much, this enters into your visual memory....sometimes for whatever reason you dont fully register what you see yet, so when you get the feeling of deja vu it is just your eyes and brain iout of sync with each other for a slight moment

just what i heard, but i trust the source

i know, thats why i said what i said because it was similar to what you said, only i knew what you were going to say before you said it, so there is no need to say it again if i said it before:thumbsup

It's a glitch in the MATRIX!

This reminds me of this movie I saw part of the other day.. "Gigli"

Quote:

Gigli starts to get up to confront them, but Ricki says she'll handle it. She starts out deceptively smooth by telling the thugs that they need to learn people skills. She turns off the radio and asks the leader if he's heard of the martial art of "Tai Moi Chai", which apparently is "digital orb extrusion". In other words, using one finger to rip out your opponent's eyeball.

The boy turns the color of vanilla pudding as Ricki describes the technique. Apparently, there are five levels, and her favorite is the most difficult. It's called "Kai Toi Mai", which is "the rip that takes the past." It involves using the thumb to liquefy the eyeball then hooking the forefinger around the optic nerve. You then rip out the nerve with such force that you take part of the visual cortex with it. This way, you deprive your opponent of his own memories, hence "the rip that takes the past."
The victim has no memory of anything he's ever seen... in effect, he might as well have been blind since birth.
