Global Dialers 08-04-2004 08:03 PM

most of this lot are still in highschool :2 cents:

Magg 08-04-2004 08:07 PM

dunno... i moved away

ImLost 08-04-2004 08:08 PM

just how it goes

GTS Mark 08-04-2004 08:09 PM

I'm still in touch with quite a few friends from high school. Although I moved away for a few years there are still quite a few here. :)

DH

SykkBoy 08-04-2004 08:09 PM

After my good friend from highschool died in a gas truck explosion, I've been getting back in touch with the old gang and we're all catching back up and staying in touch....

EviLGuY 08-04-2004 08:10 PM

Not me.. I moved out from that shithole the year after I graduated, and I haven't been back since. :)

Rankings 08-04-2004 08:11 PM

Just my 2 best friends. I'm the godfather to their children so we will always be close.

Aquarius 08-04-2004 08:11 PM

I only have contact with a couple of them, but I have one very good friend since elementary school.

arial 08-04-2004 08:12 PM

I still talk to a bunch of my high school buddies, we all hang out on Sundays in the desert here and drink beer. Though I have lost touch with a lot of other people from high school over the years.

Dagwolf 08-04-2004 08:13 PM

Me too.. I've stayed in touch with a couple of friends from high school and one from college. It's a shame I live too far to visit them.

fr8 08-04-2004 08:14 PM

Im sitting in his house. So I think I still know him pretty well.

eddiek 08-04-2004 08:15 PM

OK Arial, that is the funniest picture in your thread...LMAO!:1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

SetTheWorldonFire 08-04-2004 08:15 PM

Because either your ego gets better or worse.

either way, you don't get along.

That or you are married and or have a girlfriend. :2 cents:

Yeah, I am still in touch with them, once a year.. I still feel sorry setting the school on fire by accident. :(

CarnivalOfWhores 08-04-2004 08:24 PM

I have only one long-standing friend going back that far. By and large I don't know where the hell most of those people are... statistically at least a handful of them should be dead by now...

justfreemovies 08-04-2004 08:26 PM

although i wasnt exactly the most social person in the school
i still stay in touch with many of the ones ive met that i could tolerate

two of them are pretty good friends

Semi-Retired-Dave 08-04-2004 08:37 PM

I've had the same friends for about 25 years. That's what happens when your partents don't move around much.

Mr. Mike 08-04-2004 08:41 PM

I keep intouch with only a few. Most of them left town. One girl was my roommate for 2 years until not too long ago.

Stamen 08-04-2004 08:42 PM

I still IM the crew, and we make a habit of at least getting together to do something once or twice a year.

My two best friends I met while I was in high school, but I never went to high school with them, I hang with them all the time though.

SykkBoy 08-04-2004 08:45 PM

classmates.com has been a huge blessing in finding a lot of friends I've lost contact with...

http 08-04-2004 08:54 PM

Still in touch with 3-4. The downside is, after such a long time, they know too much

Anyone recommend a hitman?

ringmaster 08-04-2004 09:19 PM

GOOD POST!

I have cut off all contact with my "highschool friends". After high school, they just became fruity as fuck and did the same shit in high school. The never wanna drink, they never wanted to go out..they just wanted to be gay, eat chex mix, and watch Adam Sandler all the time. Now, the second year in college I dropped a bunch of them. I would still hang around once in a while, but eventually there fruityness went to far and I told them to go fuck themselves. After that, I was pretty much "friendless" for a while. I drank, I smoke and nobody I knew really did that. Then I got a job at the car wash..met some fresh people and have been best buds ever since. We throw crazy parties, go the bar, smoke pot...and thats something I really appreciated. I found people that were like ME. Now when somebody from high school calls to "hang out" I tell them I'm with a date eating chex mix and watching Billy Madison.
Oh yeah, I'm high now also. That's the only reason I decided to jump on here and right..it feels good to get it off my chest. It feels like I just got my butthole eaten out by a squirrel. Its just a feeling that I can't describe. I'm gonna go brush me teeth now..bye.

Lace 08-04-2004 09:20 PM

Mabye a few...Wish I still talked to half of em..

Marcus Aurelius 08-04-2004 09:20 PM

I have one who I see every few months. the sad part is we were best friends growing up, but our lives took different paths. we live in the same town, but just hardly speak.

Shortbread 08-04-2004 09:23 PM

KRL 08-04-2004 09:30 PM

mine died in a gas truck explosion

it was odd in school, we would think of fucked up ways to die and a gas truck explosion was one of them and that's how he ended up dying...he and I were almost like long lost brothers...same fucked up sense of humor and taste in movies and music...

Doctor Dre 08-04-2004 10:04 PM

I am still ... with a good bunch of them . My 2 best friends are still the same I had in high school ... we been best friends since early high school

Rochard 08-04-2004 10:38 PM

I fell out of touch with everyone until suddenly a group of us all signed up at classmates.com. Most of my high school friends still reside in the same rual area we went to school in, located in NJ. It seems most of the girls got knocked up right after high school and ended up working in grocery stores where they make $30k a year. Most of the guys work in low paying jobs.

Opps.

Goatse 08-05-2004 04:00 AM

I didn't have much in common with them, and we all went our separate ways.

hova 08-05-2004 04:04 AM

I still have contact with some of them, but we did grow apart. Thats life!

Vitasoy 08-05-2004 04:12 AM

I have quite a few that I still chat to on icq.

Living For Today 08-05-2004 04:14 AM

All my friends from school are still my main group of friends :-) And I'd say it will be staying that way for a good while.

Goose 08-05-2004 04:19 AM

sadly enough only to about 4-5, one of em is even my best friend. But since we were 120 students, this is not too much, is it?!

Roald 08-05-2004 04:21 AM

2 guys form university who I still am in contact with. JustSexxx (dieselaction) and Sups (dollarmachine). We spend 5 years together and dropped out together ;)

Raf1 08-05-2004 05:47 AM

I employ one of them :glugglug

Peaches 08-05-2004 06:05 AM

I still get together at least 2-3 times a year with a group of my friends from HS. And I bet it's been a LOT longer since I was in HS than most of you. :winkwink:

We change after high school. Many of us mature, many of us don't...

I just got sick of my friends... same old shit. They would always gather around talk big about the future. What they would do with all the money making it big with websites.

Problem is they never even had a domain... The difference between talking big and actually doing something about it is working at Mcdonalds and working as a webmaster.

mardigras 08-05-2004 06:22 AM

When my first reunion happened I was on-air at a radio station. When my 2nd one happened I don't know what I was doing because I never opened the notices so I don't even know when it was.

That is the truth! My true friend is one I made after high school and has been my best friend 20 years. I wish for everyone a friend of that caliber. You're lucky if you encounter one in a lifetime.

fris 08-05-2004 06:32 AM

dantheman 08-05-2004 06:37 AM

We are living in the 21st century.
Everything is moving fast.
There's ( almost ) no place for real friendship.
