What's with all the programs using "Can Spam Compliant" mailers?
When I looked over the CS act it said any forms of collecting emails from the web, as well as buying lists was illegal. I'm assuming all of these compliant mailers are for opt in lists only?

Ok I am just imagining what sponsors would say. We do not offer them. |
Picture 1000 hunters hiding in the bush.
1000 deer can be seen in the distance, but are out of range. A couple deer come close and start feeding in your trap. Are you going to shoot those two deer? ... Or wait for the other deer to see that it's safe and start feeding as well. If you think there are going to be a ton of 2257 prosecutions with the aim of trying to shut down major parts of this industry, why wouldn't you think they are planning to use CAN-SPAM eventually as well? |
spam traffic :)
