Scrubbing Bubbles and Porn
 

Have you ever sat and watched one of those new "reality" commercials? The new Scrubbing Bubbles one (for the disposable toilet brush thingy) runs exactly, and I mean EXACTLY, like a reality site's teaser trailer.

Voiceover: "Well, here we are in the neighbourhood, seeing what people think of our new toy."

Excited woman: "Look at my old toilet brush! It's gross! But this new thing, it's great! Look how good it works! *giggles excitedly* *demonstrates how it works*

Voiceover: "Another happy customer."

The choreography is what really gets me. The quick takes, the handicam style, the room mic.

And that's my deep thought of the day.

The start of this story had me worried.

I think a lot of concepts have been stolen from the adult industry. Go figure.

So true. The director probly use to do porn trailers. :)

But you have to admit...they are cool!
Next time I'm in need of a toilet bowl cleaner thingy I'm getting one of those! :)

You know a technique makes a lot of money when ... it's picked up shamelessly by mainstream!

Makes me want to make one of those trailers for my site. Hmmmm....
