Anyone Using External Firewire hard drive cage? I NEED HELP
 

I just bought this 8 port firewire tower... been trying to get it running without any luck so far...

WinXp seems to either not load the devices properly, Load only one device out of two per bridge, etc...

anyone got experience with those, or know of any good board/ressource site where I could find the help/info I need?

it's using 4 oxford 911 bridges, 2 device per bridge.


I tried on two different computers with no luck so far

get a Mac.

I am actually on my way out the door to pick up a new LaCie 160 Gig FW 800 drive.

My pro tools set up is eating through Hard drives like crazy

i'M REALLY about to throw this thing out the window...


the point was to make my life easier, been going insane for the last 2 days over this now
