processor initiated refunds - how soon is too soon?
I just got back an email saying that my processor actioned a refund for a signup which happened only 6 hours ago. The reason given was "No access"
There was no email from the member, and no email from the processor asking me to look into it... or even alerting me to the fact that there may be a potential problem with my site! Am I being too picky in being a little pissed off at them refunding so soon and so easily?? |
get used to it. It happens all day everyday. :mad:

They should try to contact you first, but alot of times the customer will say they don't want it fixed and want a refund instead. To avoid a chargeback they'll give the refund. You don't have much control unless it's you have your own merchant account.
