i promote a few pay per install programs and have my own. everything is private and all the companies i work with are legit.

i'm not looking for ref id's to toolbarcash here... it's my own personal curiosity. what toolbars have been PROVEN to change ids?

What is your program?

Don't promote pay per install crap.

It doesn't pay enough, piss the surfers off and is loaded with spyware that can cause redirects to your surfers, questionable tracking for "marketing" purposes and greasy rectal discharges.

i have heard Mediatickets was considered to do this but i cant say for 100 percent for sure

My sentiments exactly, was wondering though if creegan would elaborate on his legit program.

I haven't seen many that are.

i package it with useful free software, adult and mainstream. i don't want to give too much away on here, but it's well written and is completely non intrusive to the user, and doesn't have any scumware whatsoever. the problem is that because it's friendly, the earnings per average install are a fifth of what companies that bundle payout... and that's on my end. but i can sleep at night, knowing that i'm not fucking advertisers, affiliates, killing the users computer to make a quick 15 cents

it's based on the philosophy that spyware started with many years ago with banners in freeware programs. people won't pay, but they'll deal with a popup in the category they choose every 24 hours

I hope all the spyware people get fucked as bad as the shitty software fucks the machines they get loaded on.

modifed: no surfers like thinking back how they clicked okay to a random activex popup just because they wanted to bust

Never ever promote toolbars, you'll destroy your own business in the long run for a few cents per install and you might even get shaved.Changing affiliate IDs isn't that easy because they'd have to have a huge database with sites where they have an affiliate account to and the program owners mustn't care that sign ups come from 100s of different sites. So generally they might change ref IDs for the big ones but others - not possible beside the toolbars come with databases which are a few MBs big.
