How long is too long for sample videos?

I find the perfect length to be about 20 seconds

How about for trailers? Would 1-2 minutes be too long even though it didn't have an "ending"?

Anything over 30 seconds would be just plain silly.

i try to make mine about 20 seconds. its enough for the surfer to get a good look at your wares, but not long enough really to whack to, and it wont kill your bandwidth, dependingon where you are planning topost them. if you go on huge tgps then stick to 10 seconds or under 15.

I do 3x20 sec clips, each clip is 1.5 MB.

Depending how ya make the clips thats way to long . Show them alil action tellem to signup and sendem on their way .
