Which software do you use for creating animated gifs?
It would be nice if it has some effects pre installed.

Adobe ImageReady, comes packaged with photoshop.

Fireworks can do them and it's what I use.

animation wizard in paint shop pro is pretty simple..I know I know..Its old school..but hey, whatever works right? :drinkup

Paint Shop Pro is another cheaper one if they are still around. Used them a while back. That was before I learned how in Fireworks.

Adobe ImageReady is the best overall and i've tried most if not all of them...

Adobe ImageReady, I load up mpgs to grap every frame rate.

Jasc Animation Shop, comes with Paint Shop Pro or on its own.
