How many hours spend on your sites?
 

How many hours are people spending on their sites I have been wondering. Is there many of you that live on their freesites alone (no other job)?

and i just started. havent made a penny yet......*sigh*

It sucks workin hard and no guarentee of ever getting a check.

Let me see if I can break it down. Out of 14 hours a day online, I work 3-4 hours updating Shemp's categories (main job) & the rest of the time on my sites (adult sites getting way more time than my non-adult sites). Moneywise, I haven't hit the $100 barrier altogether with my sites. If sexstories was a click-thru, I would have made over $200 in just 10 days.

So the answer is no, I'm not living off my free sites.

anywhere from 20 hours one week
to 60 the next. thats the great thing about this line of work

the bad part is working with only a few people in person and not ever really being able to take a real vacation

ie. a full week without having to plug in!

I work around 12 hours a day 7 days a week ... making super cash now and I think its well worth it!

I've been living off the avails of my free sites for over a year and a half now. Hmmm, I guess I usually put in a lot of time every day, but that's mainly because I love the work. I also love that I can just take a day off pretty much whenever, and I don't have a snotty snoopervisor or office manager looking over my shoulder every day either. http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/biggrin.gif My former hospital job as a health care worker paid me far less than what I earn now, and I'm only using 1/10th of my brain! Imagine that.

I usually spend a few hours in the morning to answer my emails and update my TGP, then I just pretty much pick and choose what I want to work on after that. Every day brings me new ideas and projects, so it's never boring, and I usually get bored with other stuff pretty easily, but not this biz.
My income breaks down like this:

- selling traffic/sending signups to sponsors: 35%

- web page and/or graphics design for others: 10-15%

- Photographing models, referring models to other producers/photogs, content sales: 40%

- Other (traffic brokering, advertising, etc): 10-15%

No big secret formula, really.

Hey fever, if you are new, I have something that might motivate you. I started in this biz a few months ago and I'm making around 60 a day from my sites...but i just started doing some AVS so it might go up. When i first started i went months without making much but its all starting to fit together...juts have to keep working and trying new ideas =)

My time doen't go to the site but to the linkexchanges and gallery posting, afcours I updated every month but that doen't take more than an hour.

This is certainly a legit question when you see these guys running around saying they make millions working 2 hours a day. Whatever.

I work 6 hours a day, 7 days a week. Once in awhile it's a shorter day. This whole weekend will be. The nice thing is that it's my hours, no boss, and I don't have to work with the public. And, yes, I live off my sites. http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/smile.gif

i put over 350 hours in last month on my sites - my electricity bill is higher than my income. I have sites listed on DMOZ, I am no.11 in my niche on altavista, I get foreign SE hits - and am still not getting what the fuck I am doing wrong.
