Make a decision based on the credible intelligence reports gathered from 4 countries - you're a liar.

Purposely edit / fabricate newspaper headlines - you're an artist.

He really is a tub of shit.

ztik 08-02-2004 11:06 AM

"The paper is seeking $1 in damages" wtf :1orglaugh

Tom_PMs 08-02-2004 11:07 AM

Nobody is comparing them, just pointing out the hypocrisy.

BTW: In Bush's news conference today, he said that if he knew then what he knows now, we still would have gone into Iraq exactly like we did. He went on to say that they had the capability to build weapons of mass destruction, and links to al-qaeda network.. lol.

So, you can read into that what you want to obviously.

and who better to trust than the state of florida to stand up for Bush and speak out against Moore.

The thing about the newspaper I havent looked at in the movie. I'm guessing they made a paper and showed it as if it was a front page headline.
I'm not sure how misleading that is really as to the validity of the actual words on the page. Obviously if it was a page 3 headline over a letter to the editor it's different than a front page headline. But the argument could be made that it was used for "illustrative" purposes. ie: not plagiarism or copyright infringement.

Not sure if that is so misleading as to constitutes a lie or not. But it's clearly not an accurate portrayal of the actual front page. But again, I'm not sure if it was meant to be shown as an actual factual front page headline, or illustrating something, lmao. Need to see the movie again now I guess.. sheesh.

SmokeyTheBear 08-02-2004 11:27 AM

blah blah blah who cares , like that had ANYTHING to do with the movie..

Did you even watch the movie. ??

Doctor Dre 08-02-2004 11:28 AM
