I had this Porsche Cayenne for a couple of months, first time I had a chance to push it a bit on the highway. Not as fast as a real sport car, but not bad at all for an SUV :)

Seems it's time that I come to Paris for a ride my friend ;)

Did you get the Turbo model? I'm thinking about buying a Cayenne Turbo, still haven't decided though.

You're not suposed to drive over 130Km/h on the highways in France. You should be carefull as they use a lot of laser to check your speed...

Im assuming the car handles well at that speed, so its not dangerous as long as theres a open road. Ive pushed 175mph in a sports car and could steer with my index finger If I needed to.

The cayenne also lowers at speed doesn't it?

You can see if you look at the far left of the pic that he has one hand on the wheel. Also on that highway with little traffic and good visibilty in the SUV he was in, I don't think he was challenged.

When I was a little younger and crazier, I travelled down the highway late at night returning from long road trips with friends doing 200 kmp/h in lesser vehicles, steering with my kness while having a bong! LOL

I used to ride my motor bike pretty quick. Once because of circumstances I had to pick my bike up with out my helmet and returning home I thought the police coming down the highway had spotted me. I fanged it and before I realised it I was doing 260 kmp/h with no helmet. I got home and realised they hadn't even turned around. LOL

One thing I do know is it is all about focus. If you are not focused you are dangerous at 10 kmp/h just like many old people who don't have focus because of reduced faculties.

The mind speeds up and adrenaline helps the body react quicker. Many people not under the influence of drugs are more alert and use more focus at high speed just like F1 or GP Bike racing. :)

I took the pic while handeling the wheel with my left hand.
The highway was empty at that time (6am) and the car was going real smooth at that speed. You don't want to pass other cars at that speed, but when you're alone on a straight 3 lanes highway...

I've done 120mph on city freeways in a 740 frequently. Only thing I wouldn't do is take a picture coz i have to switch lanes every other second. :)

I think I need to give one of those a test drive.
