wyldblyss 08-02-2004 06:36 AM

Vitasoy 08-02-2004 06:36 AM

What the heck did he expect? :1orglaugh

slapass 08-02-2004 06:37 AM

hova 08-02-2004 06:46 AM

thats just stupid

modF 08-02-2004 06:46 AM

My wife's aunt does one of the Costa Rico runs for AA. I think these were her off weeks though. I'm going to have to call her just to make sure now.

s9ann0 08-02-2004 06:48 AM

airlines are a bunch of cocks aren't they think because they get blown up they have the right to treat people like schoolchildren

the airports charge loads for shit food and stuff because you are captive there and if the planes late or changed the airlines not apologetic they just expect you to wait around and they tell you lies and expect you not to get mad

I don't take any shit from them as long as you don't lose your temper you can argue with them for ages and they have to be calm and it pisses them off when you make them do their job! I mean if they make me stuck in the airport for 12 hours that means I have plenty of time and nothing better to do than annoy them last time I got so bored and I was broke so I went shoplifting to pass the time!

MattO 08-02-2004 06:49 AM

In Middle School I had to turn my Molly Hatchet shirt inside out to hide boobies. I don't know why this guy had a problem.

directfiesta 08-02-2004 06:54 AM

mind 08-02-2004 06:55 AM

Marcus Aurelius 08-02-2004 06:56 AM

gxer 08-02-2004 07:10 AM

very sad , but it seems to me the end of
"Free America" :(

someone mentioned "the airline policy about clothing" - is it North Korea now in US ?

sick world

adamneve 08-02-2004 07:13 AM

thaty's some stupid thing

Living For Today 08-02-2004 07:13 AM

That's a joke seriously. A bare breast? There are so many more shirts going round that would make that look like a little fairy waving her magic wand.

=^..^= 08-02-2004 07:15 AM

I once got pulled up by cops for wearing a "fuck U" (as in uninversity) tshirt in the mall
so I told them they had 2 choices: i could keep the shirt on or walk around topless .. prudes told me to keep the shirt on but not wear it in the city again
:1orglaugh

TheLegacy 08-02-2004 07:16 AM

I for one never wear some shirts I get from the industry - especially those with nude pictures on them

what if some underage kid looks over and sees my shirt?? Dont want that on my conscience. Its a policy and a good one at that.

would you want a stranger showing your 9 year old a dirty mag?

It's not government censorship. It's a private company choosing to make people dress appropriately (since some people are obviously too stupid to figure out how to do it on their own). Since the airline is a privately held company, the "free speech" argument is moot.

Oracle Porn 08-02-2004 07:27 AM

I wore my playboy shirt twice when flying to israel and back...thank god they didn't give me shit, it would of been hilarious....

What is sad is the fact that some of you here can't tell when it's not an issue of free speech.

As a business you get to set the boundaries for what is appropriate or inappropriate as long as you are not discriminating based on race, creed, color or religion.

This has nothing to do with free speech, it has everything to do with free enterprise and a company excercising it's rights to operate how it sees fit.

Exactly. I wonder how many of these people blasting the airline for this would be perfectly happy with me wearing a graphic gay T-shirt around their kids? Hey, my 1st amendment right to show them, right?

They have the right to refuse to let someone on with graphic clothing and you have the right to not use their service if you disagree with their policy.

WebTitan 08-02-2004 07:43 AM

PLEASE...that moron knew when he walked out the door that morning that he was going to offend someone with the shirt. taht is WHY he wore it...he was offered the chance to removeit or turn it inside out, he made his choice

Uh... Duh! Every business does that, and you'd be losing money if you didn't.

Go to your local movie theater, amusement park, etc.

It's business, live with it.

VirtuMike 08-02-2004 09:09 AM

AA sucks balls.

VIVA LA BOOBIE SHIRT!

mary34d 08-02-2004 09:11 AM

playboy shirts don't really raise an eyebrow these days

its a sad fact that they even print underwear and pyjamas for young (meaning 12 , 13) year old girls with playboy bunny logos on them :(

Doctor Dre 08-02-2004 09:18 AM

Airlines / border employes are definitly in powertrip right now ... that's the main cause that people stop flying ...

Satisfaction 08-02-2004 09:21 AM

power trip is what is wrong with airlines these days... very sad i must say.

mardigras 08-02-2004 09:29 AM

If you catch other articles they say the shirt was more graphic than just a boob shot the couple were trying to make it seem like and actually depicted a sex act. Still the man is an idiot. That is the kind of stuff you wear to the bar or friend's houses, not in private businesses with people of all ages/backgrounds around.

Remind me not to wear my GFY shirt on the plane trip to Internext. :helpme

Holly 08-02-2004 09:37 AM

Not only should they have booted him from the plane, somebody should have taken him out in the parking lot and whipped his ass for holding everyone up.

It should be legal to shoot people who lack common sense.

Tala 08-02-2004 09:37 AM

I also want to make it very clear that I am NOT the Tala in the article.

First time I've ever heard of someone having my name, though. Nice! :thumbsup

dress appropriately?

hahaha

I was suspended in high school for weaing a Suicidal Tendencies shirt, that was in 1993. this is what this reminds me of.. highschool shit.

look at the super model magazines, and tell me what is appropriate

this is a funny statement from you man.

some christian on a plane decides what is appropriate? that will be the day.

men have tattoos of girls breats on their forearms all over the world, they gonna make people cover their arms, WILL NEVER HAPPEN.

Joesho 08-02-2004 09:54 AM

this sounds like a good time to announce, that I will be giving away 420 calendar shirts at the show poolside, look me up I am only bringing 150 of them..
