Probably gets alot of sales but anybody know whatever happend to the owner of Girls Gone Wild?

Did he get thrown in jail? or Did he get out of it?

I think the real serious charges got dropped. Not sure where the case is at right now but I'md sure he's got the best lawyers money can buy and will beat it.

Girls Gone Wild' to Seek Reparation for Seized Jet in Panhandle

PANAMA CITY, Fla. - A lawyer for the creator of the "Girls Gone Wild" video series says he will seek up to $1 million in reparations from Bay County after an appeal court ruled against the confiscation of a business jet by sheriff's deputies.

The 1st District Court of Appeal in Tallahassee on Wednesday affirmed Circuit Judge Dedee Costello's ruling last year denying the $2 million jet's seizure as part of a criminal case against Girls Gone Wild producer Joe Francis.

Francis, 31, of Lake Tahoe, Nev., is facing 43 charges including racketeering and promoting the sexual performance of minors while filming at nearby Panama City Beach during spring break last year. No trial date has been set.

Aaron Dyer, Francis' Los Angeles lawyer, said he plans to seek $200,000 to $1 million for loss of the 12-seat aircraft's use. It belongs to Francis' Delaware-based Aero Falcon LLC.

The jet and a 2002 Ferrari were confiscated in April 2003 after deputies raided a condominium where Francis was staying, also confiscating dozens of videos.

Costello returned the jet to Aero Falcon the next month, ruling there was no proof it had been used to facilitate the crimes Francis is accused of committing.

The state appealed the decision, but a three-judge panel affirmed it Wednesday without comment, making further appeal unlikely, said sheriff's lawyer Franklin Harrison.

A hearing on the fate of the Ferrari, owned by Francis' Mantra Films Inc., of Santa Monica, Calif., has not yet been scheduled.

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- A judge is threatening to dismiss the "Girls Gone Wild" suit filed in Tuscaloosa.

Tuscaloosa County Circuit Judge Steve Wilson says the three women who filed it must name themselves in court records Friday or their lawsuit against the makers of the film will be thrown out.

An attorney for the women, Calvin S. Rockefeller, contends his clients should remain anonymous to avoid embarrassment. The class action lawsuit was filed by the 19-year-old women in March.

The suit claims the video series' crew enticed and coerced them to disrobe and expose their breasts when they were 17.

The women, two from Tuscaloosa and one from Bessemer, were included in Mantra Films' "Girls Gone Wild: Ultimate Spring Break Volume 8."

The girls were probably in Panama City, Fla., when the film crew approached them. "Girls Gone Wild" filmed in the city for the first seven years of the franchise's existence, but Rockefeller says it also could have been in Gulf Shores.

Judge Wilson last week dismissed seven of the complaint's original 13 charges against the video series, its founder Joe Francis, Mantra Films and Alabama-based video stores that distributed the film, including The Movie Exchange and Video Zone and Tanning. In all, 19 defendants were named in the suit.

Defense attorney Timothy Cummins declined to comment about the case.

it was interesting to watch, i actually watched all 30 mins of it while laying in bed. the 'plot' about the "mans show" host and him was gay as hell though :1orglaugh

I order one of the DVDs about 4 years ago.

Had a hell of a time getting them to cancel the subscription.

You call up and cancel. No problem they say but they keep comming and so the the VISA carges.

Had to file a complaint with the Attorney General in my state and in CA as well as charge back before they stopped.

They got to be making a killing.
