After seeing Al Sharpton's wanton Democratic Party cocksucking. It is refreshing to read about Bill Cosby proclaiming unpopular truths.

Al Sharpton's bold proclamation that (minority) "votes are not for sale" is laughable if it wasn't such a bald-faced LIE. The Democrats BOUGHT the minority vote through:

Huge welfare system that disincentivizes family formation and individual initiative

Affirmative Action expansion from Nixon's idea of affirmative racial outreach to a de facto QUOTA system.

Now, who bought who?

True--in absolute numbers. Yet blacks are just 10% behind of whites in welfare dependency.

On a % of the population, blacks outnumber whites in welfare dependency.

I agree with Cosby, but I believe that the original intentions of those programs were different from their actual implemenations.

The problem is that those programs haven't changed and evolved to fit the times, and may have in fact been kept that way in order to "buy the vote" from minorities.
