Why is everybody shocked with GOOD TGP gallery conversions?
 

I can't understand why so many people are so shocked if gallery traffic does better than 1:500. I have several sponsers in the 1:300 range and I have my best sponser around 1:60 consistantly. It's all gallery traffic with the built up SE traffic as an added plus. I post on general TGP's with high traffic, yet I have amazing ratios.

The key to successful submitting is learning what the surfers like, testing templates until you find the perfect layout and learning where to place your sponser links. It's also a mix of text to make them horny, and some text to talk to their hard dick about joining at a great price (and other incentives when joining). If you think gallery traffic sucks, you're missing out. It's definitly a traffic source that has been tainted over the years, but if you analyze your traffic enough and factor in the other variables, it's not hard making a killing in that aspect of the biz. :thumbsup

People have a hard time understanding how others can make money from something they can not. It makes them feel like a failure.

I guess that is the case. The key to doing anything successfully is learning how to work the resources properly. Sometimes it's a time consuming process, but if you stick through things long enough, they eventually pay off huge. :thumbsup

I'm shocked that I'm getting .30 cents to write this post.

A) Ratios like that don't mean shit. If i say I convert 1:60 and my friends convert at 1:1000 it would seem I do better but when you find out that I only get 1 out of every 500 people to go from my gallery to my sponsor while my friend gets 1 in 20 who actually is doing better. Not to mention sponsors have 20 begillion ways to define what a ratio is.

B) There are REAL tgps out their that take submissions? WOW I'm shocked. Most I find are BS filled with their own stuff or expect you to pay to post or post their friends only. Which is fine it's their TGP, but still.

A. I mentioned high traffic general sites. I'm not talking about 50k TGP's here with strictly niche traffic.. I'm talking about 200k plus, no skim, etc. The actual CTR is based on the template, linking placement, etc. If you have that down to a science, getting high CTR's shouldn't be a problem.

B. Again... If a person has been doing this long enough or starts off in the submission biz with a knowledge based on outsider research, they'll be able to make the connections and build up that traffic within a matter of months. I'm realizing that the conversion shock is based on the majority of people having the same belief as you.
