Yes for most people. Mine is 90% gone now but it took over 1 year to get almost back to normal.

I thought I had gotten a stroke when I woke up and saw how I looked in the mirror. I couldn't sleep because my right eye couldn't close, I couldn't eat because the right side of my mouth didn't work, I couldn't talk and the list goes on.
