Car bomb in New York soon

The terrorist warning wolf has been cried again. "Credible evidence" that al queida plans to blow up a car bomb at Wall Street or other New York financial interests within the next several months.

It's realyl amazing it hasn't happened yet... It's a very simple operation to pull off it make me fear that they are actually holding back so they can just nail us with a huge attack....Damn I hate those bastards...

You voting for Bush?

xclusive 08-01-2004 07:36 AM

Hell no i'm not voting for bush he's the best thing to happen to the terrorists they love him in office because he is a great poster boy for their cause...al-queda membership is actually up because of the bush administration and of course not everythig is his fault just most of it...

DesignWise 08-01-2004 07:43 AM

Well I just hope they fail..

brand0n 08-01-2004 07:45 AM

sheep.

there will be a threat of attack back and forth untill election day. bush has full intentions of winning this race.

Firehorse 08-01-2004 07:52 AM

Ridge said in early July that al Qaeda was planning a large-scale attack in "an effort to disrupt the democratic process" before the elections in November.

I fully expect the terror alert scale to be raised before then.

what does?

you should update your gfy bot to avoid touchy topics. "looks great to me!" would be just fine in an "id hit it" thread

This is not good at all, my sister works at Federal Reserve Bank Of New York, that would be a potential target. People really need to get out and vote for kerry.

I really really feel that if there is another terrorist attack here it will not be in NYC or Washington DC because that is what is "expected", fueled by these reports. I think they would go for a mid-size city totally unexpected, one that hasn't had the funds to beef up security as much as the larger cities.

jimmyf 08-01-2004 08:07 AM

Voting for Kerry is not going 2 stop terrorists from attacking us, and I have no ideal why people think it would.

Gottis 08-01-2004 08:09 AM

Getting Kerry in isn't going to change a thing - terrorists and their doings concerned. Sorry to say but they'll attack no matter who's in office. The foreign policy America is pushing will pretty much remain the same.

This is also true, but getting Kerry in office will make many other things better, than it would be with Bush in office.:2 cents:

I've been thinking the same thing.

haven't you been to nyc in a lately? you can't even fart without an alarm going off in here.

btw last week there have been an explosion in the subway, news didn't say much

TheWildcard 08-01-2004 09:32 AM

lay off the crack pipe man

KRL 08-01-2004 10:23 AM

I can see a coordinated car bomb attempt. That would be the type of technique they could pull off easily. No one would even see it coming. They could just have a bunch of terrorists all park bomb laden cars at the same time in the general area of a building and kaboom.

Sure they can do small attacks easily but Al-Qaeda likes to use big attacks to get attention.

gornyhuy 08-01-2004 10:28 AM

Perfect plot would be to make hundreds of taxi-bombs and drive into the city simultaneously.

Basic_man 08-01-2004 10:30 AM

It will never happen!

Goose 08-01-2004 10:33 AM

hmmm...I'm not sure, when I think of what happened in Prague today?

dready 08-01-2004 12:02 PM

It's not like it's all that hard... buy a ton of Ammonium Nitrate for $300, throw in a barrel of fuel oil, load into a truck and light a stick of TNT on top. Terrorists really aren't much threat or they're really not motivated at all.

They might even have an attack, remeber Bush already laid the ground work to find a way to suspend the elections until later if we were under attack.....

I think he even knows he is going to lose this race...

I agree. This is one reason why living in Phoenix worries me.

Let's just say they have the plans in place to hit NYC. What's to stop them from hitting Newark, NJ?

EviLGuY 08-01-2004 01:05 PM

Just in time for the elections. :thumbsup
