Do you live by the beach?
I do....
the humidity sucks, but other then that it's great to live 5 minutes from the beach.... we're expecting a lot of tourists in my city during the summer....should be fun :glugglug |
i live in the mountains :glugglug
|
I live about 8 miles from the beach so it's not too bad...
|
I'm less than 5-minutes from the beach.
At the moment I can see whales most days. |
I live across the street from the lake. My next house will be right on it (the shore obviously)
|
I live among a lot of lakes. About 10 years ago I lived near the beach in Sydney

were you the one who took this pic of the whale dick? :1orglaugh |
I'm about a 10min walk from the beach, it's cool but I don't really go anymore. It was handy when I used to surf.

I live pretty close to the beach, but I just moved here so I haven't gotten a chance to check it all out yet.
|
No it's about an hour drive up or down the coast for me unfortunately which means no surfing every day.

I heard that another problem with living near the beach is that metal easily get rust... not a big deal anyway..

I'm about 5 miles from the beach. I can deal with the humidity. It's the winters that suck. I used to have a place on the beach several yrs ago and almost hated it. Was way too windy and cold all the time.

so you also have a beach :winkwink: |
I spent a summer in a beach home in my teens and I couldn't wait to leave. The bikinis are nice, and so is the ocean, but the bugs were annoying. So was having sand in your ears, ass, etc.
If I had more money, I'd buy a log home in the Rocky Mountains with 100 acres of land. Now that would be heaven. |
I love the beach!! Think I'll check it out today if it doesn't rain. I'm about a half hour drive away.

no danger of raining here :1orglaugh |
Nothing better than looking out your window at girls in bikinis, white sand and blue water...
hitinface |
im like 20mins away, and never go

When I lived a block from the beach, I had constant rust on everything..bicycle..car..appliances inside.. fucking surfer punks that loved to use my yard to store their surfboards. Skin cancer sucks.. flatland is not my thing |
I did when I was younger. No longer do now. I miss the beach. :(
Ocean City Beach Virginia :thumbsup |
I lived in Marina Del Rey for a couple years when I was young and in Florida 1 block from the beach for a couple years. It's really not that safe down here to be that close to the ocean. During the Hurricane season you always have to be ready to evacuate and the storm surge can completely flood you out.
|
I can walk to the beach in under two minutes, I can see the surf from my windows, and listen to the waves all night long.

myrtle beach sc here
|
The water is close enough to throw empty beer bottles into it from my balcony.
