Everyone reacts differently to it, there are plenty of people who arent spending millions on treatment and are living fine with the disease, others regardless of how much they spend are in the shits, he may be one of the luckier ones whose body can cope with the disease better.

I agree..afterall he was a professional athlete and probably pretty damn healthy as compared to the herion addict gay whore who would probably die within a year.
