I'm thinking a fully loaded F-150 SuperCrew.... or Tahoe... or an Expedition...

Fukeneh 07-31-2004 11:21 PM

Jeep Wrangler! :)

An Expidition would be my choice. I hate the gas on them but they are nice vehicles.

If you have to come on GFY and talk price, you probably can't afford anything. Moron. :1orglaugh
Money is no object to those that have it. :321GFY

I've been test driving all the new SUV's and really love Mitsubishi's new Endeavor so far.

Its obviously not for a single young guy looking to pickup chics. But if you are more conservative and have kids this one is a great family car.

Or for a luxury car, a Benz or a Lexus are as good as it gets at that price range.

That Lexus is nice, nearest dealership is an hour away though, getting it serviced would suck..... no luxury car dealers near me really...

Was thinking of a new X5, $70k price tag is a little high though, would rather spend more on house.

That's totally incorrect and baloney. The guys I know with money have money for a reason. They are smart buyers and want to get good deals on everything and are very price conscious.

The flashy new money are the guys that don'w worry about price and one day they inevitably will look back and wish they had.

truck-wise, definetly the F150.

car wise, i'd wait a few months for the new Mustang. or, if you're really patient, another year or so for the new Mustang Cobra SVT.

how about a land rover Defender 90? the last year they made them was 1997, they are both rare and rugged. they will bring in the chicks. dependable. under $40k. etc.

Zerof8 08-01-2004 12:27 AM

none. I have too much bad luck with vehicles, which is why havent bought a new one since my Yukon. I really tried to keep it nice but I am begining to think it is just impossible.

Yeah Ford has some offers on the F-150... like $5k off... I go with USAA for loans, they give me a blank check and Im preapproved to go spend it on any car I want up to a certain price.

Oh yeah Hummer H2 have a lot of discounts as well due to gas prices... but that just screams "my pecker is 2 inches"
