The Village-very political?

Just saw the movie today and despite what the critics said about it, was not that bad. Reading up on the reviews and looks like it is a slam against the current Administration:

Now looking back on it, it did have alot of current political undertones. Very subtle but there.

Anyone that ties that in with keeping Amricans in fear is stretching it pretty far. M.Night is half-ass with only one style.

A hour and a half build up with one twist and 20 minutes later a sencond twist. That's all he knows how to do, so for him to have used political undertones is a reach.. even for him. It may be coincidental because of how things are now, but a year ago, or even 3 years ago when it was written I don't think they were thinking of ways to get a political message accross.

But it's nice of you trying to defend him. :)
