The Village-very political?
Just saw the movie today and despite what the critics said about it, was not that bad. Reading up on the reviews and looks like it is a slam against the current Administration:
Here is the link: Review Now looking back on it, it did have alot of current political undertones. Very subtle but there. |
Anyone that ties that in with keeping Amricans in fear is stretching it pretty far. M.Night is half-ass with only one style.
A hour and a half build up with one twist and 20 minutes later a sencond twist. That's all he knows how to do, so for him to have used political undertones is a reach.. even for him. It may be coincidental because of how things are now, but a year ago, or even 3 years ago when it was written I don't think they were thinking of ways to get a political message accross. But it's nice of you trying to defend him. :) |
sixth sense was awesome. its been downhill since that.
