You have to feel for Drier. He's a moderate, relatively intelligent Republican which is why they have him on this type of show instead of the Jesse Helms type of republican who really run the party.

He has one HELL of tough job defending his party in open platforms like this, but he takes it like a soldier.

i agree, that republican dude was a GREAT sport....he really took it like a man and stood up for what believed in...and he also gave others a chance to talk, which is something republicans rarely do
