Do you believe America will attack Iran?
 

I think it will happen in a year or two. There will be based evidence that the Iranians are developing WMD and causing threat, and the US will attack them.

btw, I believe this will happen no matter if Bush or Kerry wins the elections.


p.s: for Bush joke lovers: if it'll be found after the attack that Iran didn't actually develop WMD, Bush could say his real reason for invasion was as revenge for the Irani national soccer team victory over the USA team way back in the 1998 world cup.

I told people the day before we invaded Iraq that there was no evidence and we wouldn't do it. We won't invade Irand and i stand on my record of accuracy.

Iraq would have to be settled down first, and I think the US admin (bush or kerry) would prefer to exhaust all other options first with Iran, which would take some time. I can't see them allowing Iran to develop a serious nuclear energy program however. Iran is developing nuclear technology mainly for energy and weapons as a deterrent against other hostile governments specifically Israel and its US supporters. Attacking Iran would be one of the most foolish moves any government can make, even more foolish than invading Iraq.

Our policy is to treat as a threat to democracy anyone who pursues the development of nuclear arms...if the shah develops nuclear arms he will be dealt with. As with anyone that pursue's nuclear arms.

Please note that "Dealt With" does not necessarily mean "Attacked" in a conventional manor.

The CIA needs to restore itself to its former glory. The iranian people are, as a majority, seeking revolution...sounds like an opportunity to me.
