Good digital camera to buy?
I'm looking to buy a digital camera. What do you guys recommend? I remember seeing a post of some pictures from a digital camera that caught water drops that looked awesome. Anyone have the link to that post or know what type of camera it was?

I dont have one. but soon...very soon...thsese things are awesome. |
I swear by my Canon 10D. If you want to save some money and only give up a few features (plus get a lighter camera body) go with the new digital Rebel.
Anyone who wants to make content, or really anything besides snapshots, should stay away from the point and click stuff. Digital SLRs are at perfectly reasonable prices these days. |
Just got my D70 Nikon this week.
I defy anyone to get a better camera for the dollar. |
I'm looking to get one too..
what's good to get for a good price? |
What are you going to use it for?
I bought the Fuji finepix S5000 last month for private use (no content or something) and sofar I realy like it. NIce camera for a good price :thumbsup http://www.adultdesignstudios.com/pic.jpg |
Fujifilm FinePix E500 Zoom and FinePix E510 Zoom
Fujifilm launched a new range today in the shape of the E series, which is characterized by 'wide zooms, large LCD screens and a competitive price'. The new models include the 4.1 megapixel FinePix E500 and the 5.2 megapixel FinePix E510. Both have 28-91mm equivalent wideangle lenses, 2-inch LCDs, a sturdy hand grip, a pop-up flash and are, Fujifilm says, "sure to bring even the most hardened sceptic round to digital photography". They also offer movies with sound and are PictBridge-compatible. (05:05 GMT I love this one :thumbsup |

The Canon 10D hands down for content. Make sure you get a good lens though as it can make all the difference. It's amazing how many content producers are using bad cameras and producing blurry work.

its realy depends what for you need the camera.
If its for content, only SLR. (canon d10, or nikon d70 are a very good chouses), but if its for fun and family, go with a cheap cameras as Fuji finepix S5000 . |
Depends which lens you already own. No lens and not thinking about interchangeable lens look at Olympus? line.

I've always liked Kodak they have some nice lenses...
|
i'm also looking for a new one (for personal use)
that pic from the Fuji finepix S5000 looks pretty nice, but i'd rather go with a smaller sized camera otherwise i'll never take it with me hehe. I already got a bunch of SD en CF cards, so it would need to work with those. this time i'm gonna be a decent one, otherwise i'll just throw away my money like i did with the one i currently have. |
Christ, the name of the site is GoFuckYourself and you MOFO photo buffs are posting pictures of flowers.
I'm not a conent provider so I currently use a Coolpix 8700. Good all around use for under a grand. Next buy would be the D70 I think. Body is one thing, then there is the all important Lens! You can spend some bucks! |
I just found a good site
http://www.imaging-resource.com/ they got sample pics made by each camera man, that canon EOS 300D looks weet :thumbsup |
