anyone tape their baby's birth?
 

I am thinking of doing it but I don't know if I will be able to stomach it. What are your thoughts?

I wouldn't be able to stay there and record it, i will start vomitting before the baby comes out. :throwup

I filmed a nice little clip last week of my newest son coming out by c-section. :thumbsup

i wonder if CJ or any other sites have a birthing video. Probably not because it isnt morbid - but its something you dont hear about a lot

seriously why? I would not be interested in watching myself be born. So who are you recording it for?

I didn't but if I could do it all over again I probably would.

Yeah - no biggie just keep the view AWAY from the bloody mess down there and stick to the mommy holding the baby on her chest and all that good stuff- it works fine.

For my daughter's birth,,,I just set up the cam on a tripod and put it in the corner of the room.

My wife watches it ALL the time now:thumbsup

i haven't thought of that yet, im dumb scared with bloods

Yeah it's dutch entertainment.

We were videotaping every gruesome second of my daughter's birth, until the midwife said the baby wasn't going to cooperate (she was facing backwards towards the spine) and they called in the MD to cut her out.
They wouldn't let us film the C-Section, but we did get some good pics.

The key is to film it, but not watch it for a long, long time.
When the kid gets older and rebellious, you show it to them for the first time and say "look what your mother went through for you, you ungrateful ingrate!!"

Just dont record the after birth and you will be fine.

yeh im not good with blood at all.. so i wouldnt go near the thought..

I didn't on either of my kids but on both of them I saw everything the head coming out then the placenta...It's not that bad it's the next 18 years you have to worry about...

I'd rather pay some assistant doctor to do it. :)
