Indeed, it's a sensitive topic. But you also should consider, the 18 is just an average age, which your country decided about. It should be respected too. But keep in mind, it's different in many countries too, can be higher or lower. There are 15 year olds as mature as some other at 20, and the other way around too.

Working on the internet got some of the people here completely paranoid. First of all they think anything -18 stands for cp. Which ofcourse is completely bullshit. 2nd: for some reason everybody thinks the american law = the internet law. Well, newsflash, it isnt. Third: There is nothing illegal about girls younger than 18. If you film sex acts and stuff, yes then you might be doing something illegal but other than that no. People (read: Americans) are totally paranoid and clueless when it comes to stuff like this. No clue about the law whatsoever but they just scream and yell pedo whereever they can.

It's legal. There is case law on it you can look up.

However you must recognize the very nature of what you are stepping into. It is not without risks. Even though its not CP, you can easily be seen by some people as being a producer of CP, who don't know or understand the law and that can cause a lot of complications for you.

For example you might live in a community where the local law enforcement is ultra conservative and ignorant of the laws and will hassle you regardless. They could easily go so far as to set you up. It would be easy for them to plant real CP on your computers for example under the new Patriot Act laws which basically give unrestricted seach powers to police.

You could also have a problem with the models themselves. How hard would it be for a local prosecutor to brainwash a young girl to thinking you attempted to molest her. A clever psychologist could easily get a little girl believing and making statements with that kind of implication.
