Adult Check problems
 

I don't do a lot of AVS's with adult check, but the most recent site I submitted to them I rec'd bakc this email stating that, I had an "overwhelming number of banners and it would be hard to find the contents for surfers.."

I had one banner on the entrance page, plus a bunch of avs link sites text links

I set up the site so that it was not a clone site, with multiple entrance pages, since their last email stated, that was what they wanted less clone sites

my site counter shows that the other (adult check) site on the same domain received all of 4 hits so far this month and none for past 4 days, so it is a lot of hoops to jump through for maybe 20 hits a month

I don't think I am going to build a site without banners, that's for sure

anyone else have experience with adult check, I personally find cyberage much better

I much prefer CyberAge. The only way to use Adult Check is to have a couple of Gold sites, and then make a slew of standard sites to feed the gold sites. Otherwise, you list ranking is so low that you don't get any of their link list traffic, so what's the point?

I had a regular site with them that was selling a couple of memberships per day, so I e-mailed them for advice on making it a gold site (it is not a typical kind of site at all -- all original material in a very small specialized niche). I never heard back from them. So -- I made it a CyberAge platinum. That was 2 months ago. Today I have just over 100 rebilling members. Two hours of work every other week to update. Not a bad deal.
