It came out recently and it took me a few days but I've got it and it rocks.

i have the game but i dont have xbox live. The game is cool but i was hoping for a few more changes from last year.

The xbox is the console I need to get. The games kick ass.

Sega are marketing masters.

They released the game a month early before expected, before Madden 2005 comes out, and dropped the price of the game way down to below $20.

It's the highest rated football game out there, for any console.

I got the game, haven't played it much. We need a roster update. The price was right in the game seeing as how madden comes out on August 8th. Madden 05 is gonna own football this year on every console.

Madden is still the best football game by far.

Gamespot is the online (and offline, they are TechTV) game review place. They even have links to the other review sites, which are usually in line with their call on the games.

I won't buy a game before checking there first.

yeah I thought so... there's are so many people out there that say Madden is the best, but they haven't tried the ESPN series. It will change your mind. The graphics, animations, sound, physics are a lot better and it's just a lot funner to player IMO + it's been playable on xbox live since 2k3

when you throw a pass in the Madden games they don't look realistic. tis true with the EA NCAA games too

I agree, MVP Baseball 2004 for Xbox is the best baseball game EVER!

Both games are great. All the magazines always rate them the same.


The marketing move was genius. They knew it was their last chance to steal madden users because madden will be on live this year so they dropped the price to $20 and came out 4 weeks early. Man the Dolphins players will be fucked when the roster update comes down :)

ESPN 2k5's defensive linebaker control is a plus

Madden (2004)'s quarterback control was a plus.


I like rushing so the QB being slow as fuck and being more inaccurate on the run in ESPN is fine with me.

Madden an historically been the best by far but every Year Sega gets closer and closer and if they don't beat them this year they will beat them next... Where was this markeing genius when they were marketing their consoles?
