anyone have any info on how contests are run?
 

I understand the basics. People enter, one wins. Ok that part I get.

What I'm looking for is info on how to contact sponsors and sell on the idea of donating prizes, and what they(the sponsors) get in return.

Like if I hit up TopBucks (becuase they fuckin' sponsor EVERYTHING) and ask for like $200 in cash and/or prizes, what do they get back in return for sopnsoring the contest? Just to have their banner all over the place?
