finally got a new broadband.. is it fast?
 

Finally have got a new line from my nearest neighbours who run a hosting biz.

Here how it works (tried to download 24 files simultaneously, >6mb each):

Nice connection... Pretty damn fast compared to wimpy Cable.

i don't know where you get your cable from, but mine can get way faster than that with COMBINED speeds....combined I have gotten over 1000/k

Whats your upload speed? Thats all I worry about. :)

very nice dl speed, the fastest we can get here is 3mbit (300k). Which sucks:(

Max upload speed is just ~73k, the min is ~50k =(

and you know, what is funny is....it wasn't that fast til lightning struck and fried the old modem....then we got the cable company to come out and give us a new modem...now I get like 1000k/sec sometimes....

on average I get about 400-550k/sec

Can a new cable modem really make the difference? Even if you already have a brand new one?
