Ibill vs CCBill.....The Main Event
So having read hundreds of useless threads on here, I occasionally come across bits and pieces of usefull information. So I ask this: Which processor is the right choice for a paysite, (my paysite!). CCbill seems cheaper but IBill seems more known? CCbill doesn't do tangibles, (merchandise) and IBill does. Which one has a better reputation, easier interface, better affiliate, better customer service, and BEST LUBE, (as I notice they both like to ram you!), etc... Any thoughts from "experienced" webmasters would be appreciated.:thumbsup
P.S. I am not opposed to looking into other processors, however I am planning on the site being completed in 2-4 weeks and I will be doing alot of research in that time.:disgust |
i'm popping open a beer for this one :glugglug

Have you considered Paycom?
|
Do they have a page in ENGLISH?
|
They both have their ups and downs. But from what I hear the scrubbing with ccbill is rather harsh.
I have accounts with ibill and never had any troubles from them. Of course I didn't use them for web 900 either. |
Will todays Breaking News have an effect on your decision
This Just in..................... I-Bill gets a new owner |
Fuck 'em both. We use Epoch/Paycom.

I seen that, interesting. Also how hard is it to change processors? Just new software or a major production???
|
Ibill gets more sales for me, and I love their ACH system.
|
Your best solution is to use both.
|
cascade both

neither
use epoch/paycom |
or you can use netbilling.com
I don't understand why people don't have a merchant account, is it you want to give someone else money that you could be keeping? |
Netbilling / CCbill is our favorite combo.

The more processors you can offer the better.
|
We've never had any problems with Ibill.
Obviously, the more processors you have, the better. Just be prepared to cough up the $750 for each processor to accept VISA. |
We've used Ibill for 6 years. They used to have horrible support, and so during the course of those years, we tried other processors. We always came back to Ibill because our signups and especially rebills are much better with Ibill. The money was worth the hassle of bad support.
Recently, their support has gotten much better, so that helps a lot. However, I just found out about Ibill being sold again, and I'm a bit concerned. I can't help wondering if the new owners might be anti-adult. I hope not. |

I've set up multiple processors for my company and I still don't know why people still stick to using Ibill. They had a pretty decent system with their next NexGen stuff a while back, but with all the changes they've pretty much stalled/scrapped that and gone back to their old system, which is pretty antiquated. :2 cents:

If you have any questions for Epoch / Paycom, please feel free to drop me a line.
Together we can determine if we are a good fit for each other. Rand @ Paycom dot net. |
