So Mr. 12clciks, your response to the Kerry speech?

Kerry rocked, it is going to be a hard one for Bush to top I think.

Watch the bounce in the polls....

Pleasurepays 07-29-2004 09:01 PM

how is this for a response....

everyone that was a democrat before kerry's speech is still a democrat and voting for kerry.

everyone that was a republican before kerry's speech is still a republican and voting for bush.

Bush and Kerry are both idiots and the choice today is no better than the choice between Bush and Gore was.

tony286 07-29-2004 09:02 PM

If you want to plan on continuing to keep doing adult your choice is John Kerry

We agree both are idiots. I am a Republican. I can't vote for Bush. The speech was good. I heard things I needed too and the usual democrat line I don't like. The speech itself didn't really change my mind, but I think it could have impact on some Republicans and of course the undecided.

Kerry has to drop TV ads in August because he is limited to $75 mil in spending generally. So the speech will fade in time. Will Bush beable to deliver an equal speech to Kerry's? Doubt it.

Best thing Bush could do now is start firing people. John Asshat would be at the top of my list. I'm dreaming of course.

I got to admit that Kerry is a very good speaker but running on his war record alone is not going to get him the job. His promises are to broad and too general.

Don't forget the DICK factor.. getting rid of Cheney could really invigorate the Bush campaing.

It is early yet! but it is looking good for Kerry!:thumbsup

I think the speech was good, and hopefully Kerry was able to make people see who he is and what his plans are for. I truly hope that Kerry can take this home.

The rabid Bush supporters won't know what their response is until the White House issues talking points to Rush Limbaugh tomorrow.

By this time tomorrow they will all be repeating whatever they heard on the radio and Fox.

Actually, MSNBC had a Republican pollster on with a focus group of undecided voters after the speech. Half the ones who voted for Bush in 2000, said they were planning on switching to Kerry based on tonights speech.

I think kerry did the only thing he could do to dazzle the rabble:
hide his voting record and actions of the last 10 years behind a contrived war record.
The joker was in Nam for 4 months and he talks like he has the experience of a general.
He's a joke, just like his supporters.

Living For Today 07-30-2004 06:31 AM

He is wise like a grasshopper.

When Bush ran for president, we weren't in the middle of a war on terror. Bush earned his stripes while in office. kerry's pretending that 4 months in Nam as a 20 yr old in some way qualifies him to do a better job than the current president is laughable.

benc 07-30-2004 06:45 AM

Only 2 of his 23 boatmates support him. I think the whole war hero thing has been overexagerated.

Vastly overexagerated but that never mattered to the rabble:
