9 state DSL outage :O
 

Left and came back to find I couldn't get to any websites or conect to e-mail. Hooked my DSL line up to my laptop, same deal. Was able to connect to dialup on the laptop. Checked the Bellsouth DSL system status and it said there is a 9 state outage! It just says they are investigating the cause, has been out for awhile.

It needs to come back soon... the dialup modem won't work on my desktop (even when swapped, some conflict I've never been able to find) and this laptop likes to lock up regularly.

I know one thing for sure, GFY needs to be called "The Broadband Webmaster's Board:1orglaugh

Is canada one of them? I cant get on my DSL Either

I'm on bellsouth down here in Ft lauderdale. My service went out earlier too, I changed my dns to one of my own and it fixed the problem. Maybe you should give it a try. :thumbsup

Same thing here, we flushed our DNS and renewed our IP. I was flipping out, EVERYTHING quit working other than ICQ. Good ole ICQ. :1orglaugh

Comcast has been having issues for the past couple of months too. Of course they play it like its totally normal to be down for 2 days and really nothing to be worried about.

I don't think Canada is a STATE anymore, we kicked you out.
